About This Service

MiaoAlpha (miaoalpha.com) is a paid, subscription-based email service run by an established Chinese quantitative-finance content creator, who also operates a WeChat Official Account and a paid Knowledge Planet (Zhishixingqiu) community.

What we send

Each trading day, our in-house data pipeline automatically pulls data from public/free sources (yfinance, akshare, CNN Fear & Greed Index, THS iWenCai, etc.), computes market-sentiment and timing indicators, and generates visual "dashboards". We offer 12 distinct dashboards (index-futures timing, biotech-ETF sentiment, Nasdaq-QDII premium, A-share fund-flow thermometer, bond-vs-equity thermometer, micro-cap sentiment, ETF rotation, biotech catalysts, etc.). All content is market data and research commentary and does not constitute investment advice. Some dashboards (for example index-futures timing) include model-derived directional readings and reference position sizes; members make their own decisions, and we provide no trade execution, brokerage, or account-management services.

Recipients & volume

• Opt-in only: Emails go exclusively to paying members who explicitly subscribed. We never purchase, rent, or exchange mailing lists, and we have no non-subscriber recipients.
• Subscription model (not per-person personalized): A member subscribes to one or more of the 12 dashboards. Each subscribed dashboard sends one email per trading day, so a member typically receives 1–3 emails/day depending on how many dashboards they follow.
• Volume: about 1,000 paying members; expected 1,000–3,000 emails/day.

Unsubscribe, bounce & complaint handling

• Every email carries a List-Unsubscribe header and a visible unsubscribe instruction in the footer; sending an email to unsubscribe@miaoalpha.com adds the sender address to our suppression list before our next sending run. If a request cannot be processed automatically, sending is paused until we resolve it manually.
• SES account-level suppression is enabled for bounces and complaints. In addition, SES bounce and complaint events are delivered to a queue, and before every sending run our program adds permanently bounced and complaining addresses to its local suppression list.
• Privacy: the membership list and local send logs are kept on operator-controlled devices. Necessary addresses, unsubscribe messages, and event data are also processed or temporarily stored in AWS (Amazon SES, S3, SNS, SQS) for delivery and feedback handling. We do not sell or rent member information or disclose it to other marketers.

Authentication

The domain miaoalpha.com is verified with DKIM, SPF (custom MAIL FROM domain mail.miaoalpha.com), and DMARC in the AWS ap-southeast-1 region. A sample email is available at /sample-email.html.
